Commuting

My first "normal" day based out of Auberdine was a trying one. I have discovered that Ships are not my favorite form of travel.

I'm staying at the Auberdine Inn for the moment. When I woke up this morning there were like 20 people running around. Oh, and FYI people, they do not serve honey mint tea at the Auberdine Inn, just saying.
The flight path and the docks hug the Inn, so it's a central point in the village. I'd venture to guess there are people who have never even seen the rest of this town.

Regardless, I needed to get to Dalaran to do my daily chores. So, I caught the boat to Stormwind, then ran to the far side of the harbor to catch the boat into Valiance Keep, then took the Griffin to Dalaran. I suppose flying myself would have been faster but I was still sleepy. When I got to Dalaran I ran all my errands, checked up on my bank and visited my Profession trainer. I checked in with my guild to see if anyone needed me for anything. There was a group trying to get into Utegard Pinnacle, being a veteran of the place I offered my services, and helped them clear it out. After that... I was done. Normally I would mill around and socialize. But I have now made a commitment to call Auberdine home... its so far away from everything I'm used to. BUT it was my decision and I'm sticking to it! S
o, I hit m
y hearthstone and returned "home". Taldan was in his usual spot downstairs at the inn. I went over to talk to him, but he was busy working.

So now I'm starting to realize how fracking boring it's going to be hanging out in Auberdine all the time.. you know, when I'm not killing stuff .. or making things. Maybe I could go fishing. I should go talk to that Gubber Blump guy... maybe he's got something for me to do...
